visiting the spring of eternal youth, roupakia, lefkada, greece about the "animateria" project: in my view, human beings are a remarkable construct consisting of the same matter as their environment - primarily hydrogen, carbon, oxygen and nitrogen atoms. between these atoms there is so much empty space that one could actually see through humans, if not for the electrons rapidly orbiting the atoms, clouding our vision. the matter which not only humans but also their surroundings consist of is 13.8 billion of years old. with humans we are thus facing an ancient complexity of matter which also undergoes constant change. Through ingestion of food, matter is accumulated and then released through excretion. within a few months the entire human being is, in terms of matter, totally renewed. the human materializes, manifests itself constantly out of his surroundings and still stays the same … almost. what constitutes this “materialization” of the human being, is the “idea” human being - the secret knowledge, the “software“, which organizes matter in a way that it becomes a feeling and thinking creature. initially, these are the genes handed down by a mother and father, which are then newly combined. behind all of this, in the beginning, is the ability matter has to organize itself. the soul is expanded in the human being through this unique arrangement of matter and disappears again with it. the human body is the violin, the genes are the sheet music and the soul is the audible music. i try to show this relationship between humans and their environment and their manifestation out of this, with extreme focus/blur correlation.
